What the extension reads

While a page loads, the extension observes the requests that the page sends to the Meta Pixel endpoint and the calls made to the pixel code on that page. From these it reads the event name, the event parameters, the pixel ID, the event ID and the address of the page.

What the extension stores

Captured events are saved in the local extension storage of your browser so you can review them later. They are kept for 5 days and then deleted automatically.

Email addresses and phone numbers found in event parameters or page addresses are replaced before saving. For customer fields used by advanced matching, the extension stores only the field name and whether the value was hashed, never the value itself. Sites where no pixel activity was seen are not saved.

Your settings, the theme and the notification choice, are also stored locally.

What the extension does not do

It does not send any data to us or to any third party. It has no server, no account system, no analytics and no advertising, and it makes no network requests of its own. It does not change the pages you visit and does not read form fields, passwords or page content beyond the pixel activity described above.

Notifications

Error notifications are off by default. If you turn them on, the extension shows a local system notification when a new pixel error appears on a site you are checking.

Your choices

You can clear the history of the current site or all history at any time from the side panel. Removing the extension deletes all of its stored data.

This website

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It stores one value in your browser to remember that you closed the cookie notice.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
